About Bau-Rockstars
Bau-Rockstars is a knowledge and learning platform for the construction and real estate industry – with a clear goal: turning solid know-how into real-world implementation. We are passionate about practical approaches and tools that truly work in design offices, on construction sites, and in building operations. And we believe that the most exciting ideas don’t emerge in silos, but through exchange.
We are building a platform where people from planning, execution, and operations, as well as consulting and software, can learn from one another – always with relevance for everyday practice. We started with news and webinars. Step by step, this is evolving into a real community: with discussions, best practices, hands-on experience, and a shared understanding of how innovation can be successfully adopted at scale.
Why we do this: The construction industry still lags behind other sectors in terms of productivity and scalability – something many experience on a daily basis. At the same time, the tools and technologies already exist: AI, robotics, automation, BIM, smart building technologies, IoT, and monitoring. Yet their added value often remains isolated and fragmented. We can’t solve all structural challenges – but we can focus on a lever that delivers impact quickly: sharing what actually works in practice.
Our content focuses on BIM, Smart Building, ESG, commissioning & monitoring, and facility management. At the heart of Bau-Rockstars are our webinars. They are created with a great deal of passion and, where appropriate, are designed to build on one another – ensuring that learning is not random, but follows a clear thread: from fundamentals to implementation and application in real projects.
Initiated by Miguel in 2022 and supported from the very beginning by Dimi and Niklas in web design and automation workflows, Bau-Rockstars came of age in 2025. In March 2025, Bau-Rockstars was officially founded as a limited liability company (GmbH), with Dimi and Niklas joining as co-founders. Bau-Rockstars remains a bootstrapped passion project, often developed after regular working hours – with short decision paths and the ambition to get a little better every single month.
