The shortlist for the ZKB Pioneer Prize Technopark 2026 demonstrates that the construction sector is a true driver of innovation.

Representing our industry, KLARK has developed a CO2-neutral concrete that transforms buildings into carbon sinks. Scrimber CSC AG aims to replace carbon-emitting building materials with wood products, increasing wood yield from 30% to as much as 90%.

The winners will be announced on May 12, 2026. Five finalists will present at Technopark Zurich, competing for the grand prize of CHF 100,000.

Admitting our bias, we are naturally keeping our fingers crossed for these two construction startups!
