Attentive.ai Raises $30.5M for AI-Powered Quantity Takeoff

San Francisco-based startup Attentive.ai has closed a $30.5 million Series B round, led by Insight Partners. This brings the company’s total funding to $48 million.

Attentive.ai

With its platform Beam AI, Attentive.ai is addressing one of the construction industry’s biggest bottlenecks: time-consuming quantity takeoff.

While many companies still work manually in Excel, Beam AI automates the entire quantity takeoff process. Especially for infrastructure, industrial, and data center projects, the system significantly shortens the bidding process. The platform delivers completed quantity data within 24 to 72 hours—including human quality assurance (“human in the loop”) and up to 90% time savings.

Originally coming from satellite image analysis, the team recognized early on the potential for the construction sector and developed Beam AI from there. The model combines AI automation with expert review and follows an “outcomes-as-a-service” approach. Real-world results and more than 1,000 customers underline its value.

With the new capital, Attentive.ai plans to further develop its AI models, add additional features for cost estimating, bid submission, and collaboration, and expand internationally. In North America, Attentive.ai is already the market leader in AI-powered quantity takeoff!
