TwinKnowledge secures $3.7 million in seed funding for its AI-powered solution for the construction industry

The emerging AI company TwinKnowledge, which specializes in transforming knowledge management in the real estate and construction industry (AECO sector), has successfully closed a $3.7 million seed funding round. The round was led by Camber Creek, a leading venture capital firm focused on innovation in the real estate industry.

Great Wave Ventures also participated. The funds will be used to accelerate product development, drive market expansion, and establish the company’s AI-powered solutions as indispensable tools for the construction and real estate sector. In addition, Jim Lynch, former Senior Vice President and General Manager of Autodesk Construction, is joining TwinKnowledge’s board as an independent director.

AI revolutionizes knowledge management and the search for data in plans, documents, certificates …

TwinKnowledge relies on AI-powered agents that analyze millions of data points in plans, specifications, and other project documents. The goal is to quickly find information and enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions, reduce inefficiencies, and improve project outcomes. The construction and real estate industry generates enormous amounts of complex, partly unstructured data. Until now, evaluating this information has often been time-consuming and prone to errors — a situation that frequently leads to budget overruns, delays, and compliance risks.

TwinKnowledge’s technology addresses this problem by delivering precise real-time insights from documents such as tenders, plans, or bills of quantities, and automatically matching data with project requirements.

Outlook

With Jim Lynch, TwinKnowledge gains an experienced industry expert who will support the company’s expansion. The seed funding is also an important step in expanding the technology platform and entering new markets.
We are also noticing growing interest in AI innovations for the construction sector, even though the industry is not known for being the most innovation-friendly 😉
And of course, there is competition! In the German-speaking region, Howie has developed and brought a similar solution to market maturity. For a better understanding of AI in knowledge management, you can visit our media library and watch the recording of the Howie webinar.
