Vyzn Closes Seed Round and Expands

The Zurich-based startup vyzn, an ETH spin-off focused on AI-powered building optimization, has completed its seed funding round. The round was led by Spicehaus and Kiilto Ventures, and complemented by strategic investors from the construction and real estate industry.

vyzn Team

The platform simplifies planning in the early project stages and enables automated analyses for LCA, energy efficiency, circularity, thermal comfort, and related cost estimates (including variants) — based on BIM and 3D models. More than 50 industry players, including Zurich Airport, Implenia, Halter, Pensimo, and Amstein-Walthert, are already using vyzn in their projects.

With the new funding, vyzn is driving its expansion into additional European markets, with an initial focus on Germany. The foundation is a technology that automatically transforms architectural models into fully simulatable 3D models — enabling fast and precise iterations in the early design phase.

For anyone who would like to experience vyzn in advance: Adrian, CEO and co-founder, presented vyzn in the webinar “Rethinking Design: BIM-Based Optimization of Construction Projects” at Bau-Rockstars (available in our media library).
