LCAx is an open source library for exchanging and working with LCA projects.
The goal of LCAx is to make an open, machine and human-readable data structure and format for exchanging LCA projects, assemblies, impact data and results.
LCAx intends on being an infrastructure layer for common procedures in regard to exchanging, converting, validating and calculating LCA projects. It allows for 3rd parties to extend its functionalities and data structure.
The aim is making LCA calculations more accessible, transparent, and open.
