After the initial years of orientation, the transformation toward sustainability in existing building portfolios is gaining real momentum. And immediately, the difference between pilot projects and series implementation becomes apparent: the major challenge is not a single optimal technical solution, but the sum of many well-executed measures. This is why client standards are a key factor for sustainability.

With funding from the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU) and a broad network of clients, general contractors, specialist planners, and manufacturers, synavision and energydesign are developing standards within the ScaleUp! project for public and private clients, project developers, and technical asset management. The benefits are clear, including:

We have already successfully developed and tested a wide range of standards. Together with specialist planners and installation companies, we continue to expand them and integrate the standards into our digital service platform, which supports projects from the initial idea through to regular operation.
